Design Museum | Oma & John Pawson

The Design Museum was recently renovated by OMA & John Pawson. This Grade II listed building originally built in the 1960's retains its post war roof while the modern interior and glass facade form the new structure.

The 'helter skelter' staircase spirals round the outside of the atrium connecting the gallerys on each level while creating an empahsis on the grandure of the building and a focus on the incredible roof as you look up.
