Print Description:

The countryside around London is protected from development, but that doesn't mean it's left free. Carved up into pockets of private land, it's tightly controlled and managed, as are the people who visit it. This photograph, part of the series Road to Nowhere, shows the division of land for a station for the HS2 railway, a fence not made for an animal but man. The fence winding endlessly into the horizon, I walk and orbit the land.
